the 27th Australasian Finance and Banking Conference

The 27th Australasian Finance and Banking Conference (AFBC) was held on 16-18 December 2014 at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney. This conference was organised by the Institute of Global Finance and School of Banking and Finance at the Australian School of Business at UNSW, and sponsored by the Australian Stock Exchange, the Reserve Bank of Australia, BlackRock, PwC, Finsia and Bureau Van Dijk. The AFBC has gathered hundreds of attendants from overall the world.

The conference also engaged with the finance industry and the policy makers by creating a major business forum on December 16.The conference also offered a PhD Forum held as a separate one-day session on 15 December 2014.

On 16 December, the conference hosted a major business forum engaging both industry professionals and policy makers, fostering discussions on current challenges and emerging trends in finance and banking

Additionally, a dedicated PhD Forum was held on 15 December, providing a platform for emerging scholars to present their research and receive constructive feedback from experienced academics.
